This past month’s freebee was Blind Boys of Alabama. A wonderful set of Christmas songs, Amazing Food and of course the fabulous host of the show! Cheap Free Music, Free iPod casts too!

I have been able to see candid conversations and performances  of the likes of Match box Twenty’s Rob Thomas and Mr. Cheap’s Favorite Grace Potter, she does a version of Paris, Ooh La La with you know who!

My favorites of course was Remembering Tom “T-Bone” Wolk , with a celebration of the life of the late T-Bone Wolk… The episode brings together several former members of the band, including guitarist G.E. Smith(Saturday Night Live Alum), sax player Mark Rivera and drummer Mickey Curry, with current members Paul Pesco and Charlie DeChant for a set of T-Bone’s favorite songs.

My other favorite was Episode 15: Company of Thieves in January 15, 2009. Wind-up recording artists Company of Theives join Daryl in January, performing tunes including “Piece of My Heart” and “Everytime You Go Away.” Genevieve’s may be tiny in demeanor  but belts out Janis Joplin, it’s jaw dropping.
