Here at Cheap.com HQ, we get to see what search queries people type in to Google before they click over to our site.
One of the silliest ones we saw recently was someone searching for “Super Bowl $50 Tickets”.

Super Bowl tickets for $50….really?

Why even waste time typing in that search. Nobody is going to give away tickets to the hottest sports game of the year for just $50.

And even if you could buy a ticket for $50, unless you live near Indianapolis, you’d still need to shell out thousands of dollars more for flights, hotel rooms, food, etc. You can bet that all the hotels and restaurants in the area have jacked up prices sky high in anticipation of windfall profits from the big game.

Now if you’re that cheapskate that expects to only spend $50 for Super Bowl tickets, we have a suggestion for you.

Take your $50, get some nice snacks, and invite your friends over to watch the big game at your house. Dollar for dollar you’ll have a much better time than if you had spent the $2,000 that Super Bowl tickets were going for the other day.
And your friends will really appreciate it.
