I have a love hate relationship with my Keurig. I love the coffee, I fight with the coffee maker.
In business there is always a tool that is the loss leader and the consumables that you use in it. The consumables is where the money is.
Drill-drill bits, Nail gun-nails, Dishwasher-dish tablets, you get the idea.
You can get bargains on a Keurig coffee maker at all sorts of stores, Kohls, Target, Walmart or even Amazon. Finding the best price on the K-cups is the hard part.
Keurig.com has a deal!! Register your coffee maker, you get two free boxes when you buy two. Email sign-ups get you promotions in your email box. Setting up the account gets you a percentage off as a member. You also build up points towards merchandise. Registration is limited to 3 offers for the get two free. I upgraded recently to a deluxe, and got my 2nd set of free coffee! Southern Pecan yum. I gave the used one to my kids.
Registration also gets you the advantage of a warantee on your coffee maker.
Cheapster #2 also reuses K-cups, big cup selection for cup one, small cup for a refill. I am not the only one that stretches usage, it’s pretty common in my circle.
Samsclub is my other regular option for basic K-cups, 80 pack for under $40.

My experience with Keurig makers is also a love hate, but the love wins. My Keurig heating element broke and I simply called Keurig and explained the issue. I have a new Keurig with in a week. No difficulty at all. I agree, register your Keurig as they had everything they needed on their system.
